How work is done
Write things down.
Scope, contacts, runbooks, and decisions live in documents, not in one head.
Keep the blast radius small.
Changes are staged so one mistake does not take everything down.
Test restores.
A backup that has never been restored is a guess.
Explain decisions.
You should be able to ask why, and get an answer.
No surprise bills.
Costs are agreed before work starts.
