Your first server

1. Sign in and open the server

Sign in at panel.ondrya.com. Your servers are listed on the dashboard. Click one to open it.

2. Wait for the install to finish

A new server runs an install step first. While it runs, the status shows as installing and the console may be empty.

Note

Do not change files or press power buttons until the install finishes.

Servers typically install in minutes.

3. Read the server address

Open the Network tab. It shows the address and port players use to connect. Use the full address, including the port, unless the game uses its default port.

4. Start the server

Go to Console and press Start. Watch the output. The server is ready when the game prints its ready or listening message. The exact line depends on the game.

5. Check the basics

• Open Startup and confirm the game version and launch settings are what you want.
• Open Files and look at the main config file. Settings like the server name, player limit, and password usually live there.
• Take a first backup in Backups before you change much.

6. Invite players

Give players the address from step 3. If you want friends to help manage the server, add them in Users rather than sharing your login.
