Console and power controls

The Console tab shows live output from the game and lets you type commands.

  • Start: launches the server.
  • Restart: stops the server cleanly, then starts it again.
  • Stop: asks the game to shut down cleanly. This saves worlds and data for most games.
  • Kill: ends the process immediately. Use it only when Stop does not work.

The status next to the buttons shows what the server is doing: offline, starting, running, or stopping.

Type a command in the box under the console and press Enter. What commands exist depends on the game. These are the game’s own commands, not panel commands. Many games need you to leave off a leading slash here.

  • The server may be offline. Press Start.
  • The install may still be running.
  • The panel may have lost its live connection. Reload the page.

The graphs on the console page show CPU, memory, network, and disk use. If memory is pinned at your limit and the server keeps restarting, it is running out of memory. Reduce the player count, view distance, or loaded mods, or move to a larger plan.
